Why invest in your people?
Today's business environment is dynamic and demanding. Every business is striving to do more with less, add value without adding cost, attract and retain solid employees and faithful customers, and provide high-quality products and services – all against a backdrop of dramatic technological evolution and ever increasing global competition. Information and technology have provided organizations with the ability to produce more and respond faster. State-of-the-art organizations have innovative strategies, finely tuned systems and clearly-defined processes. Well-trained, competent employees are a critical part of the equation.
In order to succeed, employees have to be highly-motivated, skilled and adaptable. They need to respond in every situation with confidence and competence. Peak performance is simply the result of the level of ownership within the people to embrace the organizational mission, while continually striving for continuous improvement, quality, collaboration, accountability and world-class service. To maximize contributions, employees develop skills to match the efficiency of the available technology and existing systems.

Can training really change peopleís attitudes and behaviors?
Our trainings have many functions and benefits, changing people is not one of them. Although our trainings have history of being a positive catalyst for the process of change and improvement, sustaining it is up to each one of us.

The purpose of our trainings are to: Have a forum to explore and experiment with new concepts and beliefs; Present tools, techniques and skills to assist you be more effective in your life; Create a safe environment to communicate, realign, resolve, clear out stress and transform conflict into possibility.

I've done things like this before and it didn't work – what makes your services so different?
Without knowing what you have done before, maybe nothing maybe everything. The entire premise of Launch Your Dreams is that these are your dreams and this is your process, not ours. Our services and the trainers and guides who render them, are steeped in the principles of Accelerated Learning and Experiential Education. We act as guides to assist you to explore and experiment with what you really want. Although our services can be a powerful catalyst to clarify and manifest what is important to you, the responsibility is on you. Even though our services are deeply rooted in practical experience, there is nothing magic about what we offer. This is why we guarantee the quality of our service but not the quality of your results. Another possibility it didn't work for you, is how you responded to the services; how committed you were to putting what you learned into action. There can also be a timing issue – sometimes we are not ready when we think we are and there is something else that needs to be addressed which moves us closer to our dream. Bottom line – that was then and this is now. How much do you want it?

What is Accelerated Learning?
The phrase "Accelerated Learning" is a misnomer because you cannot accelerate the learning process. Research has shown repeatedly that the average human uses no more than 7% of their brain power. Our traditional ways of teaching and learning are so outdated and have been so ineffective that IT SEEMS as if we are accelerating the learning process. In reality, we are simply using what we know about the brain in order to better "package" the information and better "condition" the learner for receptivity. When we a decreasing the amount of wasted time involved in transferring and blocking information, we allow the natural process of learning and integration to occur.

What is your process of helping people launch their dreams?
The personal process is addressed in coaching. The organizational process is addressed in organizational training.

How long will this process of launching my dreams take?
It will take as long as it takes. There are many variables such as your level of commitment of time and resources to the process, how many risks you are willing to take, your response to failure, how well you integrate what you have learned, to name a few. It will differ with each person according to their life path and the issues they are here to overcome. For example: people who would benefit by integrating patience into their life, the process could take longer than those who could benefit from taking risks or speaking their truth, where the benefits could be immediate. For someone who could benefit by developing more trust in themselves, others and life in general it could be more of an ongoing process. It is important to understand this is not a quick fix – we are not in the fast food personal or canned development business. What we offer will respond to you based on what you do with it. What we have found over the years is that people have been pleasantly surprised at how quickly they can have what they have wanted for so long. With the combination of our street tested techniques and personalized support integrated with updated mindsets and renewed practices dreams become reality.

How do I know this is what I need?
First of all not to think you need it. Dreams are rarely about need, as much as they are about desire. Finding the best person or organization to work with you is an important part of the process. The more you trust the service the more you will access it. This is why we recommend that you interview us to see if it is a match. There is no obligation to any part of our service, so that if at any time you determine it is no longer serving you then you can end it.

What if I don't know what I want?
We all know what we want, as it is part of our nature to grow and develop. What we find with people who are having difficulty identifying what they want, is some belief (such as "There is not or I am not enough") or a defense mechanism (such as fear) restricting their awareness, and keeping the truth from being revealed. One of many techniques is to begin by sneaking up on your beliefs by inquiring into what you don't want and why—many times this releases what you do want as well as what might be in the way of getting it.

I can't seem to get motivated about anything—can your services motivate me?
We believe all people are motivated. People are motivated by what is of value to them—the higher the value the higher the motivation.
People are motivated from the inside out—the value that motivates them, lives inside of them. The three internal mechanisms behind motivation are choice, commitment and action. The bigger issue would be to address what is behind your belief that "you can't." Self doubt, perceived limitations, letting past experiences control future options, and fear are common causes that block passion, motivation, and creative self expression.

Can I learn what it takes to motivate others?
It is not possible to motivate others. Since people are motivated by what they determine is important, the final choice, commitment and action comes from them - not you. One thing to explore would be why you want to motivate someone else. Normally it is because you want them to do something different than what they are currently doing. Therefore the truth behind your desire to motivate them, is it is about you not them. When you address this truth then you can work on what is driving you to motivate them.
Certainly, we can have an influence on others. But at the end of the day it will always be up to them. The best chance we have to influence someone else is to offer possible value, support them in their own choices, and not get attached to their process. Keep in mind that other people's lives are not your business because oftentimes when you are in their business, you are not attending to yours.

I feel depressed and unhappy all the time – can you fix this?
We are not here to fix you and/or anything you are dealing with—this would be a disservice to you. Your experience is not our job. Our services offer you a safe place where you can explore what's behind the symptoms of depression and unhappiness. Learn what is the story, belief or expectation you have attached yourself to that is causing your symptoms. From there we assist you in identifying solutions, build value, set up support system and develop a realistic plan to help you implement them into your daily life.

What exactly is coaching? Is it another fancy word for therapy?
Coaching and therapy spring from the same impulse – to assist a human being to live a richer, fuller life. Many of their approaches, tools, and outcomes can be similar as well. Both are valuable ways to learn and grow, and each has their place in the spectrum of wholeness.

Subtle differences arise from the fact that modern day psychotherapy has been closely aligned with the academic, scientific and medical communities, while coaching has been more closely aligned with the business, entrepreneurial, and sports communities. Psychotherapy is usually heavily regulated while coaching is not -- most states require therapists to hold special licenses and credentials, including medical degrees, in some cases. Typically, but not always, the psychotherapeutic process can focus on the healing and resolution of issues rooted in the client's past, or issues related to abuse, addictions, or crisis response. Therapeutic services are most often delivered in person and can take a significant amount of time to resolve, though there are psychotherapy schools for short-term and rapid-response.

Coaching is not therapy, nor does it replace therapy. The core metaphor is a "coach" – someone who helps you improve your already existing performance. It is less concerned with a client's remedial work (healing old wounds) and more grounded in a 'what to do about it' approach. Coaching is usually more action-oriented than most psychotherapies, and can help clients maintaining forward momentum. The main focus of coaching is to develop the client's present and future life, through emphasizing the importance of taking specific actions to achieve their goals and dreams. The coach is someone who assists clients in updating their beliefs and breaking down goals, projects, and plans into practical, do-able action steps. Coaching is often delivered via phone sessions, and is often focused on short-term work (weeks to months rather than months to years).
